Volunteer
Volunteers are an important part of our mission to meet critical education needs that will strengthen our public schools.
The Public Education Foundation is always looking for volunteers to help support the over 18,000 teachers and 300,000 students in Southern Nevada public schools.
Volunteer opportunities include:
PEF Teacher Superstore
The PEF Teacher Superstore provides school supplies to teachers to reduce their out-of-pocket expenses. These supplies are then passed along to students who often can’t afford them. Volunteer roles at the Teacher Superstore include greeting teachers, assisting with check-in, restocking items, and assisting with school delivery events.

Scholarships Plus
Scholarships Plus provides more than $5 million dollars in college scholarships each year to help students pursue their dreams of attending college or vocational school. Volunteer roles with Scholarships Plus include presenting to students about your post-secondary experiences, reviewing and scoring applications, and compiling student and donor award notification packets.

PEF Events
The Public Education Foundation hosts a number of events throughout the year, including annual fundraising events, back-to-school donation drives, and many more. Volunteers are most needed for the Tee Up for Education Charity Golf Tournament in May, the Black Girl Magic Juneteenth Jubilee Luncheon in June, back-to-school drives in July and August, and The Golden Apple Gala in September.

PEF Administrative Office
The Public Education Foundation partners with the community and the Clark County School District to meet immediate, critical education needs that will strengthen our public schools. Volunteer roles with the PEF administrative office include greeting guests to the office, answering phones, and completing computer-based projects in Word or Excel.
