The Public Education Foundation’s 18th Annual Tee Up For Kids Charity Golf Tournament will be held Thursday, June 7, at Spanish Trail Country Club, 5050 Spanish Trail Lane.
Funds raised from the tournament benefit public education through the Foundation’s programs and initiatives, which include the Leadership Institute of Nevada; Early Learning, Literacy & Family Engagement; the Scholarship Program; and the Teacher EXCHANGE®.
The charity golf tournament’s Champion Sponsor this year is Las Vegas Billboards. Silver Sponsors are Appreciation Financial, CBRE, Global Promotional Sourcing, NV Energy and PANDORA. Bronze Sponsors are Altitude Color Technologies, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Channel 3, PGA Tour Superstore and Sam’s Club.
The tournament’s chairs are Jan Jones Blackhurst, Chairwoman of the Board of The Public Education Foundation; Olga Lyles, Bob Martin; and Tony F. Sanchez III.
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun scramble start at 7:30 a.m. Tournament activities include closest-to-the-pin contests; tee prizes; trophies for first, second place and third place; and an awards luncheon.
