Hispanic and Latino Legacy Dinner | November 29, 2023
PEF will host the inaugural Hispanic and Latino Legacy Dinner/Cena Patrimonio de Hispanos y Latinos on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, in downtown Las Vegas. The event is a cultural celebration, recognizing four inspirational Hispanic and Latino leaders and providing life-changing scholarships for four local students of Hispanic or Latino descent through PEF’s Scholarships Plus program.

The Golden Apple Gala | January 5, 2024
The Golden Apple Gala gives our community the opportunity to come together to honor educators and support programs that make an impact for our public schools at a stylish evening party. During the event, PEF will recognize a community partner who is committed to supporting public education in Nevada and partner with the Clark County School District (CCSD) to honor the educators named Teacher, Support Professional, Other Licensed Professional, Principal, and Central Administrator of the Year.

2023 Holiday Extravaganza | November 29, 2023
CCSD Secondary Fine Arts and PEF will partner again for the 2023 Holiday Extravaganza to showcase the considerable student talent found throughout CCSD. More than 200 students participate in group coaching with local Las Vegas artists before performing together on stage at Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

Tee Up for Education
Tee Up For Education is the Public Education Foundation’s charity golf tournament. Golfers enjoy a day of golf on one of Las Vegas’s finest courses while supporting our public schools. At Tee Up For Education, the Public Education Foundation brings together business and community leaders to connect and engage with PEF’s mission to meet the immediate, critical needs of our public schools.

Black Girl Magic Juneteenth Jubilee Luncheon | June 18, 2024
PEF will once again host the Black Girl Magic Juneteenth Jubilee Luncheon: Education IS Freedom on June 18, 2024. Held in concert with the Juneteenth holiday, the event celebrates phenomenal African-American women of the past, present, and future while raising funds to provide scholarships for four Black/African-American students as they pursue their college and career dreams.
