However, through perseverance and hard work, Wendy was able to overcome these obstacles and fulfill her dream of becoming an educator.

Throughout her journey, Wendy has been inspired by several female educators who have had a profound impact on her approach to teaching and mentoring. Her Aunt Kathy, an elementary teacher; an English teacher in St. George; and Gail Spindler, a high school teacher, have all played a pivotal role in shaping Wendy’s passion for teaching.

Wendy believes that educators play a crucial role in a student’s development, and her commitment to supporting future educators through the Teacher Pathway program is a testament to her dedication to the profession. Wendy’s passion for teaching is evident in her commitment to professional development, including mentoring and support from fellow educators. She believes that mentorship and support are essential to achieving one’s goals as an educator.

Wendy’s experience with the Teacher Pathway program has been overwhelmingly positive, and she is excited to see her mentees’ journeys unfold.
