Brager, Nadal and Snyder elected to Board

The Public Education Foundation’s Board of Directors elected three new members during its board meeting today: Clark County Commissioner Susan Brager, Jerry Nadal and Don Snyder.

Susan Brager, a Clark County Commissioner, has been a resident of Clark County for more than 50 years. During this time, she has worked to improve education as a parent volunteer, school employee and school trustee. Brager served three terms on the Clark County School Board from 1995-2006. During her tenure, she served as president, vice president and clerk.

Jerry Nadal is Senior Vice President, Resident Shows Division for Cirque du Soleil and has been in the entertainment industry for more than 29 years. He sits on the Executive Board and is responsible for the operations, sales and marketing of the seven productions in Las Vegas: Mystère, “O,” Zumanity, KÀ, LOVE, Criss Angel MindFreak Live, and Michael Jackson ONE.

Don Snyder has deep ties to Southern Nevada. An executive with senior leadership experience in both the commercial banking and gaming industries, Snyder is immediate past president of UNLV and now serves, on a volunteer basis, as a presidential advisor. Snyder has been involved with UNLV for nearly 30 years as a volunteer or administrator. He also has served as dean of the UNLV Harrah College of Hospitality.

There are 64 individuals on the Foundation’s Board of Directors; its members serve staggered, two-year terms.
